This White Wolf game is set in a time vastly before the present, when heroes and magic were the order of the day. The Exalted themselves stand head and shoulders above the rest, anointed by the Gods themselves with great powers designed to aid them to fight said deities' own enemies on their behalf. They were successful, and were given dominion over the world in which they dwelled.... but those enemies weren't done, they corrupted some of the Exalted giving rise to civil war and tyrannical rule. Until now. Reborn Exalted, the characters have a chance to put things straight again.

A Second Edition was released in 2006, and was licenced by Onyx Path Publishing in 2012. In 2016, they brought out a Third Editon. Exalted 3e depicts both a revitalized and expanded Creation, and the triumphant return of the Solar Exalted - but whether their rebirth will herald the salvation or destruction of the world, none can say. The system redesign takes the best parts of the previous editions and streamlines the mechanics for maximum playability.
