Like many hobbies, role-playing has inspired a vast range of magazines and journals; providing commentary, news, reviews, new material and more. Many are general in scope, and other specialise in a particular game system or genre, or in providing scenarios for either one game system or several... The range is endless, quality varies from home-produced duplication to glossy commercial production... and the content can be as varied. Various imprints come and go, but if you like a particular system or style it is often worth trying to track some old magazine down.
