The Starship Troopers RPG, from Mongoose Publishing, is based on the novel Starship Troopers by Robert A. Heinlein, and the movies and animated series inspired by it. Launched in 2005, it used the D20 3.5 system. Although once Mongoose was publishing Traveller some thought was given to rewriting it under that ruleset, the ideas came to nothing before the licence expired.

Mongoose also published a miniatures skirmish game set in the same universe.
