SLA Industries was originally published by Nightfall Games in 1993. It is set in a dystopian far-flung future in which the majority of the known universe is either owned or indirectly controlled by the eponymous corporation "SLA Industries" and incorporates themes from the cyberpunk, horror and conspiracy genres.

After a brief buy-out by Wizards of the Coast, Nightfall Games resumed ownership and republished via Hogshead Publishing and when they closed, in agreement with Cubicle 7 Entertainment since 2003. (This accounts for a bizarre assortment of SKUs associated with this line of books!)
