Dark Conspiracy was published in 1991 by Game Designers Workshop. Using their 'House' game mechanics, it is a horror game set in a dystopian vision of the early 21st century - and if you think the credit crunch and climate change are bad, you'd not like to live in this setting! It focusses on a slowly-collapsing America, beset by economic chaos as well as alien invasion from dark dimensions.

The Second Edition was published under licence by Dynasty Presentations Inc. in 1997, while an option for a Third Edition was taken up in 2010 by 3Hombres Games, who released their core rules in 2012.
