If you need very cartoonish clip art images this is the product for you! It consists of 4 line drawings - a murderous-looking lady with firearm and dagger, a man in a hooded robe with staff (probably the best drawn of the lot), a scantily-clad chap with sword and shield (the face looks female but he's bare-chested and obviously male!) and an insect/man looking a bit threatening.
While the easiest way to look at the drawings in in the PDF, those familiar with putting publications together will be pleased at the addition of .TIF versions of each - much easier to insert into professional layout programs.
These are designed for use in works you intend to publish, and suggested wording for the acknowledgement is included - no further fee beyond the purchase of this collection is required, which is a pretty good deal. While the drawings are black & white line art, they'd lend themselves to colouration if you prefer, and your purchase of the file includes a coupon to get one professionally-coloured. However, if you prefer to colour them yourself, a tutorial on how to do so is included - very useful for the newcomer to publishing. This alone is worth the price... I think I'll be asking permission to use this in class!
If this meets your needs, this is an excellent resource. But it is aimed at a specialist need.
