Launched on 2 August 2018, the year-long Playtest for Pathfinder 2e includes the Rulebook (available as a free PDF or you can purchase a hardcopy version), a Bestiary (free PDF only) and a massive adventure/campaign book, Doomsday Dawn, also available as a book or a PDF. Although the Pathfinder Society won't switch to Pathfinder 2e until the final game is released in the summer of 2019, a few scenarios are due to be released for the playtest.

The playtest information will be gathered by means of a series of very detailed questionnaires for both GMs and players to fill out once they have had an opportunity to play through the adventures; and of course any other comments or reviews that are aired by the playing community.
