Dungeons & Dragons: Inns

Inn vol.1

How many adventures have you run (or played in) when at one point or another everyone has ended up in a tavern? And how often does a brawl break out while you are there?

Whether your games tend to this norm or not, a well-detailed inn is a very useful resource in any DM's notebook, and here is one of exceptional quality. While it's used in the adventure Deadly Ice from 0one Games, enough detail is given here - the background of the place and the people who run it - for you to drop it into your own adventures and campaign world, perhaps as a 'base' for your party or just a place they visit occasionally.

The various rooms - both public and private - are presented in a top-down, three dimensional view, in both lush colour and greyscale.

The rooms presented are the brewery, kitchen, warehouse, common room, a sample bedroom (complete with toilet - very advanced!), the owner's bedroom and that of one of the staff. Each is beautifully-detailed, with the appropriate furnishings and possessions scattered around. As well as proving invaluable if you like to use miniatures in your game, or just want a visual aid when describing their surroundings to your players, they will also help you while you are designing your adventure - just looking through them spawn ideas!
