This is the version most early gamers are familiar with, as it was distributed far more widely than the initial 'woodgrain box' versions. The White Box series (4th-6th printings, 1975-1979) followed the earlier Woodgrain Box. It contains Volume 1: Men & Magic; Volume 2: Monsters & Treasure; Volume 3: Underworld & Wilderness Adventures; Reference Sheets.
