This regeneration of Doctor Who as a role-playing game was published by Cubicle 7 Entertainment beginning in 2009. Harking back to the early days of the hobby, the core rules come as a boxed set complete with dice; both these rules and supplements come as both printed books and in PDF in contemporary style. While offering adventures that sweep through all of time and space befitting the TV show on which it is based, the original artwork concentrates on The Docter as portrayed by actor David Tennant (10th Doctor, 2005-2010) alone. However, this has been followed by an "Eleventh Doctor Edition" picturing his successor in the role, Matt Smith, as well as a series of sourcebooks detailing different Doctors throughout the show's history.
