Now in its second edition, 0one Games claim that this was the very first PDF D20 adventure... Based on the 10,000 year old legends of the time when the gods of Arthad first used humans as their pawns and then left, the characters have to pick up where the original human heroes - the first to stand up to the gods - left off. Of course, at 1st-2nd level their challenges are that much the less, but there are several new monsters and NPCs to test their mettle, plus excellent support for the DM including maps and handouts.
Publisher's blurb: "The Legend of the Steel General is the first chapter of the Seven Avengers Saga, which continues in "The Twenty Sides of the Evil" and in "Warriors of Dream". While this module is specifically designed for the world of Arthad and it is part of a saga that unfolds in that setting, it can be adapted to any campaign setting and easily played as a stand-alone adventure.
"The first of the seven black generals gathered together the barbarian zenith tribes, more than 500.000 men in all, and led them in an attack of the West. The barbarians, led by the cruel zenith commander Krozadai, fell upon the draman in their fortress of Draman Del. The huge army besieges the legendary fortress, the sole way leading to the west kingdoms and hence to the Guardian Sword.
"Draman Del is the only fortification against the east people; if it should fall, the barbarians may swarm over the entireties of the west kingdoms."
